Digi-Arts (Digital Graphic Design for Teens)
Look around, graphic design is everywhere! Graphic designers create and communicate messages, and design so many of the things we see every day — logos, websites, apps, packaging, posters, magazines, signage, environmental graphics, film and television titles, and more. As DigiTeens’ mission, in this course students will be given an opportunity to put their innovative ideas into test through brainstorming and teamwork in creative and fun environment! If you like working on your school’s newspaper, creating websites, making videos, or just looking at logos and visual identities, then this course is for you!
As the final project, students use the materials covered in this course to design whatever they need (as logos, posters, business cards, etc.) for advertising and boosting their imaginary future startups!
2. Digi-Game (Digital 2D Game Design for Teens)
Living in Canada with the third largest video game industry in the world means there is a high demand on graphic artists and game designers. In this course, kids with no background in game and graphic design, through the easiest and most efficient way, will acquire the technical knowledge of how to look at 2D game development as a builder as suppose to a gamer!
Also, as the mission of DigiTeens, students will be given an opportunity to put their innovative ideas into test through brainstorming and teamwork in an innovative, artistic and fun environment! As the final project of this course, students design their own games and practice marketing techniques on how to advertise their game, as their products!
3-Digi-Web I (website design for teens)
This course is designed for beginners in web design who wish to 'break the ice' on the subject in the shortest time possible. Rather than elaborate on the theory of a web design, our training is fully focused on teaching hands-on production skills and techniques, and all of our trainers are full time media producers working in their chosen fields. To aim this goal, we choose Wix, as a powerful internet-based web design solution ideal for those who wish to create websites with the minimal of technical complexity and knowledge. Utilising the Wix platform, it is possible to build professional looking websites in a fraction of the time it would take using conventional means. This course offers a complete overview of the Wix platform, and how to create professional looking websites quickly and effectively through easy 11 steps! If you are seeking to get up-to-speed at a rapid pace, and to have the opportunity to discuss your concerns in detail with an experienced producer, look no further. In the final project of the course, students design a website for their imaginary future business!
